Yogi Adityanath

Yogi Adityanath is the current Chief Minister of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. He was born on June 5, 1972, in Panchur, Uttar Pradesh, and his birth name is Ajay Singh Bisht. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University in Srinagar, Uttarakhand.

Yogi Adityanath is a prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and is known for his controversial and divisive remarks. He is also a staunch Hindu nationalist and has been associated with the Hindu Yuva Vahini, a militant Hindu organization, which he founded in 2002.

Yogi Adityanath was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Indian Parliament, from the Gorakhpur constituency in 1998 and has been re-elected from the same constituency four times. He has also served as the head of the Gorakhnath Math, a prominent Hindu temple in Gorakhpur.

As Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath has implemented several policies aimed at improving law and order, infrastructure, and governance in the state. His government has launched several initiatives such as the "One District One Product" scheme to promote traditional industries, the "Kisan Uday Yojana" to support farmers, and the "Namami Gange" project to clean the Ganges river.

However, Yogi Adityanath's tenure has also been marred by controversies, particularly with regards to his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and his government's policies towards minority communities. Nevertheless, he remains a powerful figure in Indian politics and his policies and actions continue to be closely watched and debated by both his supporters and critics.
