Bundelkhand freeway can connect Chitrakoot within the underdeveloped Bundelkhand region with the Lucknow-Agra freeway close to Etawah. The 296-km-long Bundelkhand freeway passes through seven districts -- Chitrakoot, Banda, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Jalaun, Auraiya and Etawah. The multilane freeway, which may be later swollen into six lanes, has been made at a value of around Rs fourteen,850 crore.
Besides up property within the region, the govt additionally expects the freeway to provide Associate in Nursing economic boost and build job opportunities for native individuals. This is the fourth freeway project in Uttar Pradesh and was completed in twenty eight months, in line with government.
